You NEED this Dishmat-- Review and Giveaway. CLOSED

GIVEAWAY CLOSED

Let's face it. We all have dishes. And more dishes. And even more dishes.

And most of us have bath toys. Many of them. All needing to be dried.

I'm here to tell you that you might just positively need this Garden Botanika DISHMAT.

Now, I know that it says dishmat on the label, and of course it's an amazing dishmat. It's ultra absorbant, is washable, protects your glasses, and looks awesome {check out the site envision to find out more and check out the change in my kitchen!} Of course, I left one dishmat in my kitchen to put to good use drying those pans of mine. Which, I love, especially because my sink is now free of the constant pile of pans drying there.

But, me, being the out-of-the-box thinker decided to put that dishmat to good use in my house. So, I brought it up to the bathroom and there it got put to excellent use -- as the mat for drying those many bath toys. And yes, John Deere tractors make excellent bath toys.

Those toys were always my nemesis. We'd either a} leave them in the tub to dry b} put them in one of those mesh basket things that sometimes hangs well but then falls over and never seems to dry out or c} threw them in a bucket and then after a while threw them out because they got gross. I've done them all.

But, then, I took another one of those amazing mats and brought it upstairs in the bathroom for bath toys. And I love it. The mat, which is made of this crazy awesome super absorbant microfiber absorbs 4 times its weight in water. You heard that right -- those bath toys that trap all the water and then drip every where can now be placed on here to dry completely. And because it's a breathable microfiber air can dry around all those pieces easier.  And when it's dry, simply fold and put away. I keep mine right on top of the bath toy box. Perfect.

Now,  I know you need one. Well, you could order one {or two or three} here:

I don't have room for a drying rack and really need something like this! It will be used...a LOT!

I was thinking dishes, but love the bath toy idea for sure! Sage green goes in either place too! Just found you yesterday and am loving perusing your posts! Thanks!

I’d love to try it for dishes and veggies! Thanks

I forever deal with "overflow" from my sink-- plus, it would be a safer place to dry wine glasses and flutes!

Karen said...

I did away with drying racks a long time ago because they always got nasty and were one more thing to clean. I always lay my dishes that need to dry on a dish towel. So, I'd love to try these mats. They look so absorbant!

my mom would LOVE this for dishes, and so would I! [that's pretty much my job in this house! :]]

I would love this to dry my cookware on...it never seems to fit in the little drainer I have and sitting it on a towel to dry just gets the counter soggy.

Jamie said...

Oh how I would love one of these... we have no dish washer, and the conventional plastic dish drainer is never enough-- i always have overflow when it comes to air-drying dishes! (now.. if I have a couple more hands, perhaps I wouldn't mind drying dishes half-way-- )

Courtney said...

I would love one of these for drying dishes, so much better than damp rags lying around.

kahlerstk said...

I have had to throw away not one but two really pretty hand embroidered dishcloths because they kept getting soaked from being used as drying mats and couldn't dry fast enough. These look great!

Anonymous said...

Never seen this before but would love to have one for sure. Thinking it would be great for the obvious dish draining. However, would be great to have maybe two for canning season.

I would (at least start with!) use it for dishes - I'd like to toss the bulky dish drainer, too!

Those items you can't put in the dishwasher need some place pretty to dry and keep the counter dry. This seems like an awesome thing to use for that or for setting those fruits and veggies on as I wash and set them aside.

I would use this for dishes the most, because we don't have a dishwasher, and we have towels with drying dishes everywhere. I would also use it when I can, to drain the jars, and when I wash produce. I think the bath mat was an excellent idea also.

Bath Toys! Brilliant! This is my first visit here, but not my last! I have 6 kids (3 and 3) and love to read about other people with large families. I mostly want a mat for my knives and baby bottles, but I'm very intrigued now by the idea of one for the bath toys! And, who wouldn't have a John Deere in the bathtub? Great site!

I am getting a great laugh over the pictures everyone has posted for this giveaway! Those tiny little stacks of dishes are less than we would use for one meal, let alone an entire day! Having a family of eight (soon to be nine) with no dishwasher means foot high stacks of dishes on the counter all day every day.
